Happy Independence Day USA

I've never seen the New York City July 4th fireworks display; so I created my own version. The fireworks are real photos taken locally. I combined individual shots by placing them in layers on a black background. The layers were set in "Difference" mode so that their black sky backgrounds were essentially eliminated and only the colorful fireworks were shown. The Statue of Liberty was from a visit a while back. So, though the photos were taken a while ago, this image is a new creation for today's holiday celebration.
