One of My Favorite Places In The World.
We are all so spoiled by Julianne B and Donna P's images of this famous bridge and finally I got to have my whack at it as well.
I hope the BP judges feel this is worthy of a second look since I am pretty happy about this one. :)

Thank you Julianne for a MOST WONDERFUL DAY and Thank You to Donna, as well. We had a great day at the Ranch together and I have the bouquet of feathers to prove it! Big hugs to you both! I'm so happy that I met you! -Laura :))

To Catch A Wave Is To Sit On Top Of The World. I know because they teach it in ALL the BEACH SIDE colleges! HeeHee! I miss it there, Wm. When I stood on the ocean no one could wipe the smile off of my face. Just the smell of it that first day silenced me as I took VERY deep breaths of My Pacific Ocean. :))) I am go glad Julianne and Donna keep the HOME FIRES burning so brightly. :D I am from the San Francisco area but it's the same ocean none the less. :))) Thanks for the visit!! #11164115

This beautiful capture is definitely right up there with the other sunset photos we see (and envy) regularly on bp. You should be very proud of this, Pom. Enlarge it and hang it on the wall of your Canadian home. And when the winter snows come, look at your photo longingly, and remember that special sundown on the shore with Julianne and Donna.
As for the bp judges...their eyes should thoroughly slow down to check this shot out...again and again...Best of luck with it next month!

Thank you so very much everyone. This beach in Oceanside is well worth seeing and taking photos of. This time of year is beautiful too. We are ll in shock and so sad over losing Ellen Hodges. She was a STAPLE here on BP and so very kind and sweet and encouraging to us all. her talents seemed limitless and her golden images all had such a special touch to them that were all her won. I often wanted to ask what her secret DDR techniques were but held back because it was her special thunder. All her own and magnificent! Alex Mizuno and a few others have these same special talents and effects and I am always in awe. Ellen was a special Angel on Earth. Just so sad and shocked. Selfishly. :/ Thank you everyone.
