Beautiful image, but I find it impossible to get the image you posted here with the EXIF info listed... Is there a mistake in what you posted?

There is no way that you could capture the milkyway galaxy in your shot. Or did you mean a 40 second exposure with ISO 4,000 with your Fstop at 2.2? Because that is much more believable. #11349166

Thanks- I didn't even notice the settings published. The very easy explanation is that there were 2 photos- the foreground and the background, and the data is for the foreground. When reading about Milky Way photography, I noted that some photographers advocated a separate foreground photo with a very long exposure (up to 10 minutes) using a high ISO (>3200), then later blending that foreground with the background Milky Way in photoshop. I went a step further to lower the foreground noise by capturing the old house in late afternoon when it was in deep shadows, and later at night capturing the Milky Way, then blending the 2 photos. The Milky Way settings were f1.4, 32 sec, ISO800. #11349245
