Description

I ventured up to the musician's gallery, a platform above the Great Choir seats. I was struck how this subset of organ pipes came to a point, echoing the gothic arched window beyond. But the line of pipes created a concave curving line up to the point. Then, I saw how the downward curving line of the pipes diminishing in size, met and echoed the curvature of the window's arch; where the stone line and the pipe line met, a sort of sideways, squat gothic arch formed, which I rather liked.

This is beyond spectacular, Chris! EOD in all their awesome beauty! The composition and PoV just fabulous. The light is magical. The combination of various lines is hypnotizing. There are hundreds of details, multiple lines and directions and yet the image doesn't look busy, just very well balanced and harmonious. Stunning work! I am sure we'll see it again and again.
