Thanks everyone for your great comments! It was a lot of fun to do. Susan, it was all accomplished with layers in PS. The background, individual buildings and windows were selections made with gradient fills. The pavement was a textured box as was the brick wall. Each tin person and trash can was cut from a photograph. The graffiti was an overlay and the moon a shape. Shadows were added with transparent fills.
