Captured in Canyon X outside of Page, AZ. The changing light throughout the day makes the rocks change color constantly. I captured the same rock one hour prior and it was mono-colored. Captured at 2.0sec exposure,f/22.0, 50mm focal length, ISO 100. unedited.
Exif: F Number: 22, Exposure Bias Value: -0.67, ExposureTime: 2/1 seconds, Flash: did not fire, compulsory flash mode, ISO: 100, White balance: Manual white balance, FocalLength: 50.00 mm, Model: Canon EOS 7D

Very interesting shot, Howard. I like it and the colors are amazing. #1532629Howard Eisenberg June 16, 2013
Thank you Gary. The colors were changing every 5 minutes as the sun moved across the canyon - it was really cool and you end up shooting a lot of photos. #10735352Susan Williams June 17, 2013
Excellent capture, compositions, colors, details and shapes, Howard. What a fabulous place for a photographer to hang out. #10736064Howard Eisenberg June 17, 2013
Indeed Susan, I agree. The slot canyons that are off the beaten path and/or less popular were very good places to hang out. We were lucky to find these - always good to talk with locals. #10736150David Resnikoff June 18, 2013

Indeed it is a special place. The colors were awesome, we just kept shooting and we (my sons and I) find it really difficult to delete any of the captures we made. #10737599Chris Budny July 30, 2013
I only got to Antelope while out there, but heard good things on Canyon X... definitely would love a trip back, 100% for more slots...! This is fantastic, like a tryptich in nature. Congratulations! #10788395Howard Eisenberg July 30, 2013
Thank you Chris. There are endless great shots out there as the sun changes.Sorry to see the vandalism at the National Cathedral this past weekend - what a senseless act. #10788525
