Description

Taken in RAW mode, -1/3ev, auto contrast, 25% zoom and crop. Wet rainy overcast day. This is a wild cat that lives at the lodge on Raccoon Lake. The manager told us a family of cats appeared one day. She feeds the cats, but they want let her get near them. They wouldn't let me get near them either that is the reason for the 25% zoom. They were very beautiful but very timid.

Cat images are my favorite of all to both look at and create (I have a whole gallery of them on my website, lol), and this one is outstanding. The way the cat's colors echo the colors of the fallen leaves, and your excellent use of depth of field and soft lighting. This is a very good, very appealing image, Debbie. Well done! #892164
