I had lunch alone in a small, charming French bistro in downtown Albuquerque. This young man was enjoying his leisurely meal when I arrived. He lingered over desert and coffee and, finally, a book on his Kindle; I kept glancing over and wishing I had a picture with him in it. Finally I found the nerve to ask his permission and he obliged. The waitress unexpectedly walked into my last frame.
