Hi, All!I am speechless - truly ... How exciting this is!!
Thank you all for your kind comments. I have just returned from spending 10 days with my oldest daughter, helping her get ready for her wedding on the 16th. Then we went to the Gulf shore of Florida for a week, and only got back yesterday. I was just scrolling thru the junk when I happened on this. Well, all I can say is, life certainly is good!!! :-)
Pat, Laurie, Sharon, Thomas, and Corry - thanks to each of you for all your support and encouragement. It has meant a lot!

Hi its pretty color and all, and I confess I was dying to know what it is. I just read discussion and saw somebody say its a fountain of some kind. I thought it was water in front of some drapes. What is a Chihully Please? Sorry to appear as stupid as I am, but really am curious #890931Paula S. Masterson November 07, 2004
Hi, John!Puh-leeze, don't feel silly asking about what this is. Dale Chihully is a sculptor who works in blown glass for his medium. I had never heard of him prior to this exhibition of his work in the Atlanta Botanical Garden. He created several pieces, which are stylized flowers, and are placed throughout the gardens, where they blend in with the natural displays. If you ever have a chance to see his work, don't miss it!
You are right that this is a detail of his glass sculptures sitting in a fountain. The little things that look like slash marks in the photo are actually water droplets blowing thru the viewfinder. I am attaching a larger view so that you can see the whole piece. I haven't done anything to this except resize, so excuse me if there are some issues!
Hope this helps!
