I don't know where this is but an excellent capture of the cracks from no water. I wonder how much water there used to be at one time? Reminds of Grand Canyon and how the water table is getting less and less every year. #1360801Tarun Bose March 14, 2011
This is a super capture. Lovely colour saturation and excellent composition. Outstanding work Jay. #9290939Liz blahh March 14, 2011

Jay, you never disappoint, what a great image. You feel like you're down on one knee and right in the scene. That 17-40 must have been 8 inches from the ground! Beautiful piece. Those two wide cracks in the FG are perfectly placed, you get yanked right into that canyon. Send this one to ESS on NPN, we need a good shot in the arm over there. ;-) #9293562Katarina Mansson April 03, 2011

Thanks for all the comments. It was a unique find. The recent flooding had left the floor of the canyon wet enough to make the crossing difficult. We arrived just in time to catch a clean pattern without any foot prints. #9391489David M. Montero May 11, 2011
