What an image with impact Anne!! I refused to take my son a a child to the circus after seeing something like this first hand. I had never given much thought to the quality of life of thee animals before. This is a heart touching capture, and though it is sad, it is a fantastic capture that makes you think. And of his future? Well better than it may look, he and his mother have been rescued from certain death in a Sumatra logging camp and now live in the Elephant Sanctuary Bali. Still not free but a better future for sure. #8228170
