Cool shot Karen. Are those frozen ferns? It looks like a bunch of feathers. Really a wonderful detailed image. #86567Claudia Kuhn January 10, 2004
I was doing the same thing this morning! You got a very even pattern looks good! #325743Karen Talasco January 10, 2004
Thank you, Lori and Claudia. This is actually the way the frost formed on my bedroom window over night. It's just all different frost formations. I thought they looked like ferns or feathers. Unfortunately, they have already started to melt away as the sun is hitting them. Hard to believe cause it's only 8 degrees out right now. #325824Cathy Barrows January 10, 2004
such wonder in our world and you captured it #326148Karen Talasco January 10, 2004

Wow... I just discovered your photo. Amazing and beautiful. We just don't have frost like that in Georgia. Congratulations on your win. #383094Karen Talasco February 17, 2004
Thank you, very much, Paul. This was the first time I had seeing frost like this around here too. I'd never seen formations like this before. It lasted only a few hours that day, the sun melted it away by late afternoon. #383111Jean Papo February 17, 2004

Oh my goodness! This was the photo that was being showcased when I signed on and it is BEAUTIFUL! Its one of those photos that doesn't look like much on a thumbnail but when you enlarge it (or put your glasses on) it is absolutly amazing! I love it when people can capture God's amazing handy work like this. Fantastic! #390224Karen Talasco February 22, 2004
Hello, Margaret. Thank you, so much, for your very kind words. I too was amazed at what was created. I'd never seen anything like it before and we've had some pretty cold winters here in NJ. I'm glad I was able to capture it before it melted away. #390728Diane Dupuis March 16, 2004

Hi, Carolyn. Thank you for your congratulations and responding. I too was amazed at this creation when I saw it. I haven't seen anything like it since and we had some pretty cold days here this winter. #480807Sign up for an interactive online photography course to get critiques on your photos.
