Spring Tide
Uploaded: June 03, 2008 14:06:31
Exposed sea grass and kelp at Lone Ranch Beach on the southern Oregon coast during a -2.2 low tide. The color of the reflective grass in the morning sun through a polarizer was crazy green. A polarizer/small aperture/ND filter combo allowed a shutter speed that allowed some blur in the motion of the waves. Offshore fog created an interesting vignette.
Update: This photo is one selected to run in an article about my photography in the current (August 2008) issue of Outdoor Photography Magazine.
