I'd be curious to hear about how you got all the access to Monument Valley that it looks like you did... That wasn't the case for me when I went through there last...All stunning shots!!! #241227

Damian:The workshop leader (Joe Lange a pro photographer) hired an open truck for 1 1/2 days with seats for all and a terrific guide named Roy - an elder of the tribe - who knows all the choice sites. Thanks for your visit and comments!

Lee, I have been to Monument Valley twice, and twice I have used Tom Phillips as a guide, he will take you to some great places, places that most of the other guides will not... This place has a sureal feel to it, and you have captured it perfectly... #1165549Lee Teft March 12, 2005
Thanks Bryan - it is a very special place. I will be going back on my own and will call Tom if Roy isn't available. Thanks again. #1166023Patrick R. McMullen June 24, 2007
Great shot Lee! Congratulations on this one! I have been to Monument Valley 3 times. I know this very arch also. The use of the sillouetted tree really did the job here!Sign up for an interactive online photography course to get critiques on your photos.
