A deserving winner! I was so drawn to your treatment that accentuates this common grass. I love wild grasses, but I only have one decent shot because you must lay on the ground to get it, and around here, that means laying on cacti! Anyway, congratulations on this beauty. #6004397

Thank you, Aggie! Wild grasses often catch my eye, when I am out shooting other things, and in certain light conditions I feel compelled to try and capture what I "see." The location where I took this photo has all sorts of low-growing cacti....among the yucca, wild grasses and tiny wildflowers. The other day, I was out there shooting some wildflower macros, and had to pull quite a few cactus needles out of my hand, butt, and leg. ;-) Thanks again, Aggie! #6004836
