Power and Glory!

Description

I went out yesterday to one of my favorite spots to photograph (a country church). The clouds and sky were beautiful, but the sun was mostly obscured by clouds and the color image appears "flat". So, to try and give the picture a more dramatic look, with some "pop", I applied several filters and techinques, including Orton. I then converted the image to black and white in virtualPhotographer, a free Adobe plugin from optikVerve Labs. The look is somewhat like an infrared image because of the bright yellow/orange leaves on the large trees in front of the church. Hope you enjoy!
