Description

This was shot hand held with a vr lens at a high iso not only because of the light level, but also because I knew that the noise wouldn't really be an issue given what I hoped to accomplish. I had hoped that it would simulate the grain of high speed film, which I think it did. The original color version is pretty flat, so I think the grain adds punch in b&w. I also added the sepia to give it a more vintage feel, more like a woodcut from an old book

Architectural photography is a special interest to me, and this is one of my favorites. The proof wiil be in the printing, and I plan to make a fairly large print of this one.
