So nicely done! Love the sepia tone here. Many congratulations on your second place win, Heather!Brenda Tharp July 28, 2003
Heather, this one's a hands-down success! It has all the right elements to tell the story, but most importantly, you captured the peak of a moment when his right foot left the sand and is poised over it. That adds the element of movement to the image and makes it come alive. Congratulations on seeing this moment building, and getting it right!Heather L. Jacks July 28, 2003
Brenda, Thank you so much for your observations and complements.Sheridan Leigh August 06, 2003
Oh, this may be redundant, but what a beautiful image! It has such a wonderful feeling to it. It's just so precious and captures the innocence and wonder of childhood. I can't imagine this image in standard color... your choice of sepia lends a tone of remembrance. This is an exceptional photo! I am an artist(painter), learning the technical aspect of photography. You obviously have both the technical and the artistic ability!Blessings,

Thank you very much Sheridan. I actually started college as an art major, but became sidetracked and graduated with another degree. Photography fills my need to be artistic. #158835Burl G. Anderson February 17, 2004
