Description

I have really enjoyed this past summer chasing dragonflies and damsels around the fields and ponds in my backyard. This image of my lovely friend is one of of my favorites from the pond. Re-cropped and re-submitted as a farewell until next year! It was captured hand held in macro mode. I did a litle additional work to remove background noise in PS as suggested by a BP member. Thanks Shelly! This was taken with my Olympus C-8080 in macro mode. No separtae lenses with this camera so when you are working in macro you are really up close and in their face....It was a matter of being just millimeters away. I think dragonflies like looking into the camera lens! #3624676
