This is wonderful, Lynn! I have a thing for hands! I wish I had gotten a picture of my mother's hands before her accident 7 yrs ago. She is fine and alive, so I of course couldn't be happier, but I remember always playing with her hands as a child and I still can see them in my mind. She was burned about 60% of her body, mostly her hands and face so they don't look the same! Ok, so I know I am rambling, but this really touched me!!

OH my goodness, I can't believe it !!! I am so excited about this. I have had a hard time with taking care of Mama this week and have been discouraged and depressed. I got up early this morning and had my prayer and devotion time asking for God's blessing on our day.

I then checked my e-mail and read the notification for second place and I just cried. Thank you all so much for your encourageing comments about this photo winning 2nd place. You all are so sweet, and a inspiration to me as photographers and mostly as friends.
