Description

This was taken last week on Cape Coral. The eyes are on one of the "third lines". I believe that this works with the owl centerd from left to righ because of the "in you face" nature of the expresion and pose.

I'm suprised I'm the first to comment on this!!!! This is a spectacular shot of an owl :o)!!! I don't think I've ever seen an owl on the ground. They're always in a tree or something off the ground. The eyes REALLY stand out here and the background coloring is perfect. Great capture!! #401234

Love the photo and love the creature. I use to spend winters in FL at Pompano Park Race Track working with Standardbred race horses. There was a burrow of owls on the infield of the race track and I use to get to see them almost daily. Never did get a good shot of them. #2721440
