A Mature Bald Eagle just inches from landing on the ice of a Wisconsin Lake... these birds have learned that even in the winter there is food to be had on some of the lakes of Wisconsin... fisherman often leave behind large minows that were used for bait.. and sometimes they discard fish that were to small and didnt survive being removed from the hook... this Eagle was coming in to check something an angler left on the ice.. he was landing within just a few feet of other anglers... they are very approachable when exhibiting this behaviour....
