It is a result of the lighting in the scene causing contrast and the limited exposure latitude and characteristics of the film tending to block up dark areas (Velvia). BTW the reflection has been burned down a bit in Photoshop, otherwise this is as is. #3919June Marie Sobrito December 15, 2001

greg...amazing detail! can you share where you took this shot? one other thing...the watermark with your name and year on the bottom left...how do you do this? photoshop, I assume but how?
