Love the cropping you've selected for this photo. #252955Sandy Driscoll May 23, 2005
Thanks very much, Lori. Actually, this was the photo exactly as I shot it. I considered cropping it tighter to exclude his feet and just have the color, but decided it had more impact showing his tiny feet! I appreciate your comment! #1387863Jim Kinnunen May 23, 2005
Great image, Sandy! :) #1387885Kate Jackson May 24, 2005
Love the symmetry and his tiny feet! Is he standing in water? One of the best peacock pictures I've seen!! Can't make out if the frondy bits are coming down from his plumage or up from the ground. Might look better on my screen at home! #1388224Linda D. Lester May 24, 2005
Beautiful shot, sandy! #1389184Kate Jackson May 24, 2005
WOW amazing detail!! #1389220Sandy Driscoll May 24, 2005
Thanks so much, Jim, Kate & Linda! He was standing on a walkway, and the 'fronds' coming down from his plumage are the tips of the lower side 'feathers'. I arrived at the park in early morning, when the male peacocks are really struttin' their stuff, trying their best to attract the females. I took lots of shots, but just thought this one showed him best 'full on'. I will post another later today from a different angle. They really love to pose! I very much appreciate your comments. #1390044Lori S. Aschbrenner June 21, 2005
