Acres of Poinsettias [Low Key & High Key: Very White & Very Dark Pictures A New Way to See Black & White]
Uploaded: November 25, 2008 07:08:02
Taken inside a Wal-Mart where they have a whole room full of these beautiful plants.
I find it very difficult to expose for red so I lowered the saturation in the camera and underexposed the image. I got back what I actually saw using PS using adjustment layers with a tad of saturation.
I am trying out a new camera that has the means to select the type of film and also a way to lower the degree of saturation through the camera software. I shot this in the program mode.
Shutter 1/180, Aperture 8.0 and ISO 400.
Entered into DD
Exif: F Number: 8, Exposure Bias Value: -1.00, ExposureTime: 10/1800 seconds, Flash: fired, compulsory flash mode, ISO: 400, White balance: Auto white balance, FocalLength: 7.10 mm, Model: FinePix S100FS
