"...On the back Road..."

This was a wide angle shot to try and capture a mood and emotional response to this landscape I found by accident. If you look closely you will find a Cross in the very back. Heavenly Light.

This is a lovely image too. I really do like the mood! #1526649Mitch Spence November 02, 2013
I certainly agree with Donna, Charles. The mood is both eerie and beautiful, and the conversion is lovely. #10888423Merna L. Nobile January 09, 2014

Again, as with all your photos they deserve more than a quick glance.I love the darkness. It frames the light opening. Which has an element of "escape".
The bottom light reflection is like a walk way to the opening at the end.
Thank goodness the photo is asymmetrical. Symmetrical photos are actually stressful (subconsciously) to look at. Nothing is symmetrical so looking at something that is centred draws the eye to examining if it is actually centred. You are subconsciously wasting energy on staring at the photo to see if it is really perfectly placed in the middle - such a horrible composition. And thankfully you do not have that.

I like the crispness of the lines at the bottom vs the softness of the lines at the top. This offers the sense of warmth and comfort of a ceiling covering us as we walk through the photo.Good eye - I just love it! #10976034
