Description

In the 1800’s, this was a home that a man built and lived in while he worked his farm. The people who own the land are descendants and have worked the 1000 acre berry farm ever since their great-great grandfather moved there. He hollowed out a tree stump and put a “roof” on top of the stump and called it home for many years. The tree stump of course has no plumbing or modern conveniences. It’s actually small and I don’t know how he fit in it. The tree stump home has lasted all these years and still looks to be in good condition today! The haze in the background is actually smoke from a forest fire in British Columbia.
