Saw lots of Eagles and other birds of prey at Goose Pond last month. Eagles have been quite plentiful in my area as well - in fact I almost had an accident when I spotted one driving the other day!

I had to read your post twice, Rona and then I burst out laughing when you said you almost had an accident when you spotted one driving. I thought you meant you spotted the eagle driving! LOL! Anyway, this is a beautiful shot, my friend!! #1449252Gord MacEachern March 13, 2012

What a beautiful capture Rona, this one quite wary of intruders. I know how it feels to be excited when one sees a photo opp. Also, almost had an accident once while driving the highway and spotting a spectacular cloud formation. Be safe and take care. #10038461Rony Sagy March 15, 2012
Fantastic capture, Rona. This guy is offering such an excellent pose. Terrific catch. #10039376Rona L. Schwarz March 15, 2012
Thanks for the visit, folks! Sorry I was so confusing - this was taken about 3 hours south of me at a very large wildlife wetlands area (where I shot all the cranes). The eagle that almost caused me to have an accident was one I saw at home while driving on the bypass, LoL! #10040067Karen Celella March 21, 2012
How lucky to be so close to eagles. Great find, Rona! #10048523Sign up for an interactive online photography course to get critiques on your photos.
