This is very beautiful Debbie, I feel as thought I am standing at the top of those stairs. I would also like to see them from the other side, looking up:) #1447394Debbie E. Payne March 04, 2012
Thank you, Sue. This was taken on my fall trip to Ohio to see my daughter. These wooden steps were interspersed throughout the falls and fit in nicely with the natural surroundings. This is for Dale!s challenge . I do have a couple more step images but I am not at my computer. I sm watching Once Upon a Time and sending emails at the same time!Dale Hardin March 04, 2012
Debbie, not only is this perfect for the challenge, but a beautiful scene in all ways. Very nice balance of tones in an area where it would be easy to have things lost in shadows and with blown skies. Well done! #10021977Stephen Shoff March 04, 2012
Very nice, Debbie. #10021990Michael Kelly March 04, 2012
Great colors and perfect for the challenge. Very nice indeed. #10021997Jeff E Jensen March 04, 2012
Yup, fantastic! #10022004Debbie E. Payne March 04, 2012
Thanks all! I spent the better portion of today editing images from this place and actually came up with a few more shots. I also had to "tone down" several earlier HDR edits that I thought were fine a couple months ago. It is funny how it takes time to define what you want out of any kind of new process. Anyhow here are more steps... #10022010Sue C. Cole March 04, 2012
Love the last one!! I would really like to hike this...If I ever get down that way this is on my to see list for sure. What a great workout this would be. #10022035Peter W. Marks March 05, 2012

Love this Debbie! I particularly like how the stairs are so centered on top, but then go off to the right at the bottom, leading your eyes to the waterfall! #10023152Rita K. Connell March 05, 2012
great image for the challenge nice way the stairs lead you into the image. Its beauitiful, jim and I will have to check it out. #10023507Aimee C. Eisaman March 05, 2012
How many people go straight for a shot of the falls without anything in the way and they pass up this beautiful view! Very nicely seen Debbie and I agree you did a nice job with the exposure. :~) The only thing I could even suggest would be the removal of the cars, but they are so small...not a deal breaker at all. #10023510Beth Spencer March 05, 2012
Debbie, these are all great shots! nice leading lines and the tones are perfect in all of them. #10023890Debbie E. Payne March 05, 2012
Easy to do, Aimee. Will work on that tomorrow. Your eagle eye is as good as ever! I had noticed those but then didn't do anything about them. #10024159Teresa H. Hunt March 06, 2012

It's filmed in Oregon, isn't it? #10027046Teresa H. Hunt March 07, 2012
I don't know if it is or not. I'll have to look into that. I know the show Leverage is filmed in Portland. #10027151Teresa H. Hunt March 07, 2012
Nope it looks like it was filmed in British Columbia #10027868Sign up for an interactive online photography course to get critiques on your photos.
