Basket Case
Uploaded: January 17, 2011 05:48:21
Between single-digit temps, snow on the ground and a husband with a cast on his foot, it's a bit difficult to get decent photos around here this time of year. When the going gets tough, the tough get going -- this time, straight into our local Hobby Lobby store, where I found this wicker basket with an interesting pattern. Jack's doing well and my grocery run yesterday replenished the wine, so we're good for another day here!

This is so neat. Love the patterns and colors. Wouldn't it be amazing to actually MAKE a basket? (Not sure mine would turn out LOOKING amazing?!)
Monnie, I gotta tell you, EVERY time I come to your gallery and read the category "New Stuff" it makes me smile. I know I am about to visit a really fun lady and her work. You have such a way of lifting spirits! :)))
Hope your hubby is feeling better each day.

Like Laura, I thought seeds of some kind, too. This weave seems to represent your situation at this time, Monnie. All kinds of little things going in different directions, but you manage to bring them together in a pleasing pattern. #9168123
