Congratulations on the POD! When crossing this bridge I have often wondered how to get a good photo of it. You definitely, did that and or so much more! I especially like how you captured the length of the bridge giving the feeling that it fell off the edge of the earth, which adds to the "story" of the photo. Well done! Also, thank you for sharing the exposure info, I really appreciate that. #9051560cari martin November 19, 2010

Ron, Really lovely image....love the repetition of the angles...the soft color and the sharp black....the bridge tapering into the fog...really evocative.Shirley A. Kinney November 19, 2010

Thank you all for the kind comments. It's quite a photogenic bridge and area.Cari,
When were you there? I took mine Oct 14 of this year. Though I know that it's foggy there often. I suppose it could have been taken any number of foggy days on the coast.

I took my photo on Aug. 7 of this year. Crazy! It is just amazing how we framed it in almost exactly the same way! And, I'm sure like you, I took several different shots but that is the one I liked best. I'm happy you won POTD...makes me feel like a winner too! #9053282Richard D. Love November 21, 2010
