Renee - Sepia [Fashion Photography & Beauty Photos]
Uploaded: December 11, 2004 17:16:41
From some earlier photos I had taken. Shot under tungsten with backlighting. I had left the W/B set to daylight, not my intent, and the pics are horribly orange :-). They come up in B&W ok though.

Cool picture, lots of life to it! How do you set white balance to Tungsten with this camera? I am still a little mystified by the white balance attributes of my camera, it's still new to me. #195832Graham Jones December 11, 2004

Wonderful lighting, and composition. This image works great in B&W, Graham! #966968Amanda Olson December 12, 2004
Wow, I really like this shot, Graham! I love the way her hair is illuminated by the light behind her; almost makes her look angelic. She's a beauty anyway, and I just love the way this picture was taken! :) #968476Graham Jones December 13, 2004
Rob, Amanda, thank you for lovely comments. Unfortunately many of these shots were a bit soft due to slow exposures. I was using tungsten lamps only. Those that did work came out beautifully. She was a great model. The slightly 'unkempt' look work well because she does have a very angelic face.regards, Graham #968575

Out of curiosity, what speed ISO were you using and what lens lenght? #969462Graham Jones December 13, 2004
Hi Amy, I'm at work at the moment so this is a stretch of the memory. I know I was using my 100-300mm lens as I recall jamming myself up against the wall in an effort to fit more of Renee into the shot. So it would have been the equivalent of 160mm (focal cropping).regards, Graham #969914
