Intresting Shot Debbie!I Like The Blur!! #84778Debbie S. January 04, 2004
Wow Terry...you're fast! I just submitted this! I'm thrilled you like this one...it's a little different, but I thought it gave an accurate impression of the feeling I get when I'm in NYC, (which I love, by the way) ;-) Thanks for taking the time to comment... #318019Jennifer Sena January 04, 2004
Cool, Debbie. I like the lines both in the neon signs and windows at the top. Also love the blurred people. #318054Debbie S. January 04, 2004
Hi Jennifer! I'm so glad you like this...I'm so aware of lines and textures after taking Bryan's class, aren't you? I liked the way this one looked like a collage with what was inside merging with what was outside and then not really knowing what was in and what was out...chaotic, like NYC...thanks so much for your nice comments! ;-) #318217Murry Grigsby January 04, 2004
This really portrays the hustle and bustle of a large city Debbie. Good design, action and colors!! Did you consider flipping it horizontally so the neon words were correct and the outside words were backwards? I wonder how it would look?? Well done! #318241Debbie S. January 04, 2004
What an interesting idea Murry, I never would have thought of flipping it! This is just what I love about this site and what I've missed by not doing the contest...Thanks for the creative idea...let me know what you think... #318258Murry Grigsby January 04, 2004
I think I like your original post the best. I can't believe what a difference the flipping makes though. Being able to read the neon signs detracts from the hurry-scurry mood and slows the eye down IMO. But what the heck, I'd use it both ways and get a two-for-one deal. Don't you just love a bargain? #318287Debbie S. January 04, 2004
lol...I LOVE a two-fur! I have to agree with you...the 2nd is a bit distracting, but it was worth checking out! Thanks again for the suggestion... ;-) #318466Louise Elliott February 15, 2004
