Bryce Canyon at sunset [America Pictures Utah Scenic Photos]
Uploaded: July 04, 2008 12:04:45
Clouds to the west cleared (finally) to light up the formations with the low angle setting sun. Awesome place with unlimited photo ops!

Beautiful Tim...I have hiked to the bottom of this wonderful place and you captured it well. I hope you did get to the bottom of the Queen's Palace...it's a killer coming up...but so beautiful! #6140737Tim Heimel July 04, 2008
Thank you Dominick, Jessica, Kay and Melissa! We did not have time for much hiking, having spent most of the day at Zion. Being that close, we hustled to Bryce to take advantage of the setting sun - only to discover a stubborn cloud to the west! It cleared and the whole canyon assumed a totally different and awesome character. Added a longer stay to my personal "bucket list" #6141028Gary Lange August 22, 2008

Thank you Gary - We only did the rim views of the ampitheatre. I hope you have time for more - look forward to seeing your efforts. I surely want to return and further explore and hike the valleys. #6354796Mike F. Anderson August 27, 2008
Sometimes grand expansive landscapes like this are hard to capture in all their majestic essence and beauty, but you have done an excellent job here! Congratulations on your finalist, Tim #6375802Tim Heimel August 29, 2008
Thanks Mike - I could spend weeks there hiking and shooting. I would recommend a trip there - it is simply awesome! #6385723Sign up for an interactive online photography course to get critiques on your photos.
