Knot on the Beach [Other Marine Life Pictures]
Uploaded: October 02, 2011 17:35:20
The waves are getting bigger, as the winter season draws near. Big knots of kelp, like the one in the foreground of this photo, are starting to wash up. Rich in iodine, kelp is sold as an herbal supplement and is quite inexpensive (use with caution), so I leave the kelp on the beach.

Another so apt quotation. This is a spooky shot...the kelp is so like a pile of slithering snakes...but the light is truly magnificent. #9711993Sign up for an interactive online photography course to get critiques on your photos.
