Laura: This a place where turtles' eggs are kept to protect them from predators. The people that work there review the beach every day looking for turtles' nests, then take the eggs to the camp until the little turtles are born and help them to reach the ocean. I hope that I explained it correctly. I am glad to hear from you. #11871359
