Thank you Daniele - I didn't think there was enough light in the building as I was without a tripod, but it worked anyhow! I want to go back now that I have a camera that does much better at the higher ISO's!

Stunning is right! such an unusual approach to a standard type of shot- Even the stairs and banisters in the lower right seem to be the human-level beginning point up into a heavenly world. This is great photography!!!

Thank you Jayme. I'm glad you're "back". I know about remodeling and how it can consume your time. You know, I didn't notice any SS men around. The capitol building is open to the public but I suspect they are "lurking" around in the background somewhere just waiting for someone to take a picture of something they aren't supposed to!
