Carlos Malvas
  Thank you my friends.
This picture was taken in the temple of the monkeys (swayanbunath) in Kathmandu. This man with sweet eyes and serene expression, who exposed his soul, was actually a beggar. I asked him if I could take a picture. He agreed. Didn't ask for money. In my experience, the secret for successful pictures (specially portraits) of strangers you meet in the street, is the connection you make with your own eyes (not with the camera). No flash, no staged poses, no fees to be paid, no more than one take. It means you must be fast, lucky with the light and honest to those you "take the soul".
