Cathy, being out in the water to capture this image would have been my last photo taken....I was "safely" situated at least 100 yards away (used a 400mm telephoto lens.) I hope this answers your inquiry.

The actual deep natural colour of water, the turbulance between the sea and land created by the storm, rocks, spray, the white caps of the waves... that is powerful.
