Thanks Rita,
I don't know what he was thinking about, but this picture was taken a few months before he died of cancer. He knew that it was terminal at the time of this photo. I wish I had more time to take more, but he tired quickly and was only visiting for a short period of time.

Judges:
The photo was taken in my home studio. I had my dad sit in front of a black background with a single light to his front and right. I positioned him in several different poses, and asked him to just think about his life. He had been diagnosed with cancer and we knew he didn't have long to live.

He died a few months after this photo.
