beginners courses I have taken an "Introduction to Photography course" at a local Jr. College this past winter / spring. The course was taught as an extension by a local photography studio. While I found the course interesting (I have not taken a photography class before), it was a bit "too" beginner. I have been interested in photography for over 25 years and would not consider myself a beginner, but ameture. Nature and motorsports are my primary shots of choice. In your opinion, would you still recommend BF's beginner courses? I would like to take my photography farther and want to minimize "backtrack". Thanks in advance.

Hi Ernest, I just completed the Beginning Photography course. There are eight lessons; each lesson calls for you to submit three to four photographs. You not only get a written critique of your thirty-two photos, but you also get to learn from the critiques of all your fellow student’s photos. I ended with a total of 284 written critiques.
