HP scanjet 5470c My glass on my scanner has turned (fogged) for lack of a better word. I have always used a little windex and a soft t-shirt to clean it. I'm not sure how much this is affecting the outcome of my scans. Why did this happen and what can I do to fix it. The scanner is 3 years old but my wife don't think I need a new one yet.

I fixed it. I got brave and took the scanner apart and cleaned the inside. I guess it was smoke from my nearby fireplace.
