I have problems focusing my photos

Love your book! I have a NikonFM10. It's my first good quality camera. It was suggested that I buy it to learn on. I'm having a difficult time focusing. To many bad results that I hardly ever use it anymore. Part of the problem could be my eyesight. I got glasses for driving, but it's hard to take pictures with glasses. When I look thru the viewfinder it's always dark. Should I have purchased an auto focus camera? I think so. I miss taking pictures.HELP!!!

I'm assuming you have the 35-80 f/3.5-4.5 kit zoom. You might consider getting the very sharp and bright 50 f/1.8. It lets in 4x the light that the zoom does.

Otherwise, if your eyesight is bad, the af is the way to go.
