I have recently got the sony dsc-p32 cybershot digital camera and I am a complete starter...which is why I cant explain that the hell is wrong with these pictures. It's some kind of glare and it only happens when I take pictures in darker or very dark areas using the flash. These are the worst ones some pictures you can only spot a few of them. Sometimes the pictures some out fine. I need to know if its a common problem and if theres any way I can fix it (besides turning off flash) or if my camera is indeed faulty and I must send it back to sony. Help please

I have this same problem at work. The company I work for provides me with a Nikon 2100 digital camera to use. I get this same effect in the dustier areas of the paper mill I work in. This is my theory on what is causing it. I think it is the bright light of the flash reflecting on dust and causing lens flare. If I take the same shot with available light there is no problem. I think this is a common problem with small cameras with built in flash close to the lens.
