Back to Photography School I will be taking a Beginner's Photography class in the fall and would like to buy a Nikon SLR. I envision taking more photography classes and would like to buy a camera that I will not outgrow quickly.

I think Nikon's N60 or N70 should be a good choice. Important difference between them is shutter speed and note that Nikon's N60 does not have Spot metering! Many other may recommend you to buy old used models. Good Luck.
