Polarizing Filters I want to know if I should place the polarizing filter {circular} onto the lens before or after I take a reading.

A polarizer does reduce the amount of light entering the lens by one to two stops. Therefore, with any camera that takes its light reading through the lens, you will want to put the filter on before taking a meter reading.
