Nude & Semi-Nude B&W Pictures

I have never taken nude/erotic b&w photos before and am nervous on capturing my models beauty. This Wednesday, we shall be taking these pictures in her house. But I don't have any type of lighting setup. Any suggestions on how to make the best of natural light from a window or indoor house lights?? I am a student so I lack funds for equipment but hate to think that this must limit my range of pics I can take. I want them to be good so she'll do it again & I can practice more. Any and all help would be appreciated.

You are right to feel that you can make great photos without expensive lighting equipment. After a while you may want to invest in some lamps, umbrellas, etc. since they do give you more options when shooting. However, you can use natural light to create many soft, beautiful images.

A reflector (and someone or something to hold it) will allow you to redirect the natural light and fill in shadows. A tripod will reduce the risk of camera shake in low light conditions.

As far as posing the model and finding the best place/way to shoot, just relax and let them be comfortable. Be professional and conversational. Since every model is different, you will want to communicate with them to determine how much they need to be directed vs. how comfortable they feel posing themselves. Use your words and enjoy the moment, knowing that dominion over fear is the only thing you really need.
