Dull Photos In Photoshop Elements When I compare my original photo to an edited and saved copy of the photo in Elements, the copy is much less vibrant. I read that I should change the color profile to srgb but that option is grayed out and I can't click it. When I save it, I choose to embed the color profile and I choose baseline standard. Is there something else I can try or is this the curse of a cheaper version Photoshop? Thank you for your help/suggestions. I am new to photo editing...

Give this a try.. I know it doesn't make much sense, but it does kind of work; Go to Enhance, then click on Auto Haze Removal... It makes it somewhat better.. I used a filter, but after a new hard drive, it won't load anymore, so while searching for a replacement, I accidentally hit on this. I don't know if it will help you, but it's worth a try, I think.

Have you tried looking under File, then looking under Color Management, and see if there's something that is saving photos in CMYK Or when you click Save As, click the options box and see if it says CMYK under ICC profile
