Why is BP so slow? I'm having trouble with BP's speed. It takes over a minute to just turn a page. Very slow to load at all. I'm really frustrated. Is anyone else having trouble or is it just me?

Definitely a major slow down the last week or so. Recommend that you please send a BP Support email as well... I'm not convinced that posts about website issues here in the Forums are seen/noticed nearly as quickly as a direct Support email.

Very slow here last couple months or more. Some days so slow to download or comment. Worse at end of month when there is a lot of commenting to the winners etc. Gord

I gave up trying to accomplish anything here last night. I spent a lot of time trying to maneuver from one page to another so I gave up. This has been happening to me for many, many months. Sometimes things seem fine and then at other times things are too slow to even attempt any participation.

While the BP site has been slow generally for some time now, it’s been particularly bad since last 2 days (26th June) for me, the next page after the home page takes forever to load or too long to wait , and it makes no difference whether I am using Chrome or IE or whether I am accessing from Laptop or Phone, it’s the same.

Thanks Jim, It seems better now. Over the last three days I couldn't do anything. I envy those of you who got to the forum to comment. I could do nothing except look at the front page some of the time and look at the error page. That was it.

I too have had fibre optics for over 5 years,love it till I try and post on BF,then the nightmare begins.... sadly it just keeps getting worse not better. Like multitude of others how could you begin to renew? GORD

I just commented on a photo titled "Cascade" by Joannie Bertucci. It took almost a full minute (which is faster than it has been in the past). I don't comment as much as I would like because of the speed issues but sometimes when you see a photo like "Cascade" it's worth the extra time it takes. Hopefully BP will resolve the problem and we can all get back to sharing the love!
