Thank you BP and BP'rs! For a long time now I have been studying, watching, and learning from members of BetterPhoto. You probably had no idea that I was spending hours staring at your photo's and then grabbing my camera and heading out the door to see if I could even get close to the quality of work you produce with every shot. The list is too long to name all of the members I have been learning from. Each of you have a different style that I love and admire. Well today all those hours/days/weeks/months/years I have spent with my camera paid off. I sold alot of prints of one of my photo's and to top it all off....today is my BIRTHDAY!!!! This has been an awesome day and the best part of all was when someone payed me the highest compliment by saying "I can tell by your work you love photography"! It never would have happened if I hadn't found BP and the photographers who are so talented. Thank you all!

It's amazing how much is to be learned from every photo shoot. Each one is different, each one presents a unique challenge and I love learning from all of them. I still have a long way to go and much to learn but the most amazing thing I learned from this particular photo shoot is that it shows in your work when you shoot from the heart. If I never sell another print I will be completely ok with that because if I was in it for the money I would have quit years ago! haha! I just truly love everything about photography and I had no idea what an amazing ride I was in for when I joined BP. The photographer's on this website that I have been studying are by far the best there is. My hat is off to all of you.

I looked for a long time at different photography websites before joining BP and I chose this website for one reason only. The quality of work by the members. Then when I realized how willing people were to answer questions and give their honest opinions it was just amazing. Just when I think I have seen it all one of you will upload a photo that will stop me in my tracks and just flat out take my breath away and out the door I go to learn something new. You all are pretty darned awesome!

I was told once you sell your work, you are a professional :-) There is nothing like that feeling when you have the power to make somebody smile when looking at something you created! It's even nicer when they love it enough to want to hang it up in their home so they look at it often or give as a gift.
